God's Justice

Can love survive the cruelty of God, the Holocaust, and the wholesale slaughter on the Russian front? This is the question posed by the God's justice, a historical romance, taking place during the dying months of the Second World War. In the last few months of the WWII, a German officer, Paul Huber saves Esther, a young Jewish woman from deportation. They fall in love, but the storm of war tears them apart. Paul fights for his country, and Esther tries to survive. He is decorated and wounded; his feelings for Esther remain intact despite of having reluctant affairs with other women. In order to get safe passage to join her mother and eventually Paul in the post-war turmoil, Esther becomes the lover of a Russian general. In the end...
